Busy Bee Garden Services Limited was founded in 2006 by Tim Chislett, who has over 25 years’ experience in landscape gardening and horticulture.

Tim trained at Cannington College of Agriculture and Horticulture, and Bournemouth University, earning an undergraduate honours degree. Tim worked for many large companies in the gardening industry before setting up his own business.

Busy Bee Garden Services Limited is a family-run business with Tim’s wife, Sophie, managing the administration side. Busy Bee only use skilled professionals. Tim is assisted by competent gardeners, and all staff are provided with training. Employees also hold relevant certificates for chemical spraying and machinery. The company is fully insured.

Busy Bee offer a free site visit to discuss your requirements followed by a fixed price quotation for the work you need. Once a quotation has been accepted, we book the work in - to be done on a mutually agreed date.

For regular garden maintenance, we agree a fixed price per visit, or an annual price divided into monthly instalments. This way you know exactly what you’re going to pay every time.

Tim & the team have tended our garden for the past 5 years. He has improved and made wonderful changes to our mature garden. He has taken great care to improve and strengthen the grass. Tim has added colour and interest to our herbaceous borders. He has added to the entrance of our drive with cornus alba and hostas. He added roses that everyone comments on. Tends the walled garden, fertilises the vegetable patch and has helped plant fruit trees. Tim cleared large areas, built compost bins, moss killed our tennis court and cared for the children’s tree house. Tim and his team are professional and reliable. He looks after our walled garden, adds fertiliser to the vegetable patch when we start the planting season, and has helped plant fruit trees.
